The rub soaks deep into the wood to help preserve it and prevent the wood from wearing down too soon, so that you can have your favorite wooden bowls and tools in your home for years to come.
Each of our American Farmhouse Bowls are conditioned using this rub before we ship out your new wooden bowls to you. Be sure to grab a tub of our Wood Bowl and Board Preserver Rub to maintain your new bowls when you receive them.
How to Use: Use a spoon or your finger to scoop out a small amount of the rub and place it on a clean cloth. Apply the rub to your wooden bowls, utensils, boards or any other artisan-crafted wooden surface generously all over and let stand for 15 minutes. Buff away any excess rub left behind. We recommend using this rub twice a month on your wooden bowls and kitchen tools.
For New Wooden Bowls: Use the Wood Bowl and Board Preserver & Rub on new bowls once a week for an entire month. Afterward, use on an as-needed basis. Use the rub once a month if you’re in a dry environment.
